Marathon Training and Nutrition

Welcome to the glorious world of marathon training and marathon nutrition. With the correct training, running a marathon can be an inspiring experience but it all begins months before with proper training and proper nutrition. On a regular basis I'll be writing about my own marathon training and my own marathon nutrition as I train and prepare for my next marathon.

About Me

Billy Milton
United Kingdom
At 50 you might think that its time to hang up the old running shoes. You'd be wrong, in fact its only in my mid 40's that I really got into this demanding sport at all. Fortunately my wife and my Jack Russell terrier also enjoy running so we can often be found as a trio pounding the towpaths beside the local canal. I have to hold my hand up and admit that I'm not as fit as I used to be but I'm healthier now than at any stage in my life. I'll tell you how later. Join me as I prepare to run the Luton Marathon in December 2007 and share my joys and pain (seems like more pain than joy these days!)
